Our Services

  • Physical therapy services are for those experiencing pain, recent accident, new or chronic injury, or other orthopedic problems which have impacted daily activities. An evaluation is performed and a treatment plan is developed to help a person overcome or ease their problem through a variety of modalities including exercise, manual therapy, dry needling, and education.

  • High-energy acoustic waves to stimulate healing in damaged tissues, improving circulation, reducing pain, and promoting tissue regeneration.

  • Dry needling is a modern, science-based technique that uses monofilament needles to treat pain and dysfunction in the muscles, nerves, and connective tissue. Unlike acupuncture, integrative dry needling is rooted in anatomy and neurophysiology. It focuses on how the nervous system, muscles, and fascia interact. It can help release tight or overactive muscles, reduce nerve irritation and inflammation, improve circulation and promote self healing, and can help to reset how the brain and body communicate in order to improve pain and function.

  • This is a great option for anyone who wishes to have personalized strength and conditioning training, injury prevention, and general maintenance from a medical professional whose knowledge and education goes beyond that of a personal trainer. You will meet with a physical therapist to establish goals and needs and be guided through a progressive strengthening and conditioning program designed specifically for you.

  • Class IV Laser Therapy is a type of therapeutic treatment that uses specific wavelengths of light to help reduce pain, inflammation, and promote tissue healing. The high power allows near-infrared light to penetrate the soft tissues into the muscle, tendons, and joints. It is a quick and comfortable treatment, safe for both acute and chronic conditions.

About Me

I graduated from The College of New Jersey in 2008 with my bachelors in Health and Exercise Science and then graduated from The University of New England with my clinical doctorate in physical therapy in 2012.

For the last 12 years I’ve devoted my professional development to orthopedics and sports rehab and am a firm believer in the American College of Sports Medicine program Exercise is Medicine. My own personal history as a two time breast cancer survivor has taught me that exercise truly can be used as a form of medicine for both physical and psychological ailments.

Professionally, I split my time between Finish Line PT and another clinic, where I specialize in general orthopedics, including the post-operative population, and sports rehabilitation where I work with collegiate athletes. Additionally, I am a running coach, certified through the International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA).

Personally, I am an avid runner and have participated in many races from 5k to marathon distance and have also raced in multiple duathlons and sprint triathlons. When I am not becoming geographically lost on one of my many long runs, I also enjoy furniture making, paddle boarding, reading, spending time with my husband and two young daughters, and taking naps (on the rare chance I get to do so).
